you get 5% damage on your life with 95% es

as explained with -100% resist, this become a 10% damage

and with maxed res it is 1.25%

10k trap with pvp penality is about 1700 dmg

10% of that is 170 and 1.25% is 21.25
although my build have about -30 resist, if no gear gives light resist
so thats 6.5% to your life > 110.5 damage to your life per hit

thats while your mana, with maxed telekinesis tanks 1275 damage per hit

my pools are :
1343 life
3846 mana

if i get hit 3 times i have left
1011.5 life remaining
21 mana remaining

which will empty first?
So does resist really matter that much?
you may tank 1 more trap with maxed res, but you lose on damage and -enemy resist

and i doubt a good trapper will tank me, as she sleeps into my fire wall, i simply tele out or walk out with high frw

claw block??

and just how will you even cast your fw on her while getting hit by 5x traps?

cast random fw and hope they hit while she just moves aside...

claw block doesnt work with firewall

youll never find out if a good trapper tanks you or not if you play in ladder
and 100 life per 1 trap is just way too much, the best thing about es sorc is that if you got high resists you wont lose much life before your mana goes to 0 and it can tank some hits (your mana is kinda low thou) and you can escape before it gets to 0, replinsh it and be able to do the same again. but if you lose much per trap you will die quite fast (you wont lose that much most of the time thou as you calculated with the max damage and not average damage of traps)



if you can tele away with high resists then you can tele away with low resists then. but you just lose way more life

no bmanas here

inventory full of 20/17, and u tell me my mana is low XD

also, my mana fills up in about 10 seconds, and if you need resist that much, use coh

there were sorcs with 5k+ mana on last ladder too. dno if you can get that high mana with this build thou, but that doesnt change the fact that 3.8k mana is low

oh well, every items listed were perfect

and im using facets so ofc mana will be low
i dont use psaph or surs or these items

i could get moe mana on a fber using trang helmet + belt, and get +3 fb with these, but why doing this lol

well that fcr fhr setup and not using any facets would be better vs good duelers, they will be able to stack that -res of yours either way
-res setup is fine for pubs thou

my guess is that his sors is max block? right?

getting 5k mana with that is quite impossible but 4k+ should still be easy
