700-900k per run isn't a bad ratio. And the only costly things are Griefs.

Tell me the truth, did you really read past the title? ;)

if you need a gold barb in start ladder, i guess a merc dependant barb would be better (cheaper to make/nn to buy stuff for it).

otherwise, i think i would make this guy :P

More efficient = more costly.

But I guess the amount people spend on making a merc (botd / forty / cot with a nice jewel) is just a little bit less than 2x griefs. But not by much.

Why dont you use highlord?
35 ds>70 gf imo ^^

and also, you could also gamble after each game sometimes

I always gamble, with 15% gheeds and edge crossbow :P that's the whole point of my EG barb.

And as for highlords, I kill after 2-3 ww's so extra damage is not necessary here :) 40% ds from both griefs is sufficient.

couple things

weapon damage modifiers do not stack. so using dual deaths doesnt give you 100% ds, its 50% ds each weapon. same with grief. its not 40% ds, its 20% per weapon.

i never found a need for cham'ing something, idc if i get cold slowed, i still ww enough and hit enough to keep my life and mana pool up (30 str 6% ml 80% gf ammy, lolz)

grief pb's are by far the best weapon for this build: you never have to repair them, and they have ignore target defense, making your AR irrelevant. also, they hit stupid hard.

good job overall though, you've got the build i prefer to use for the most expedient goldfinding

oh, and i never bother with a merc. only one i ever considered making was a pride weapon might merc, make me kill that much quicker, lolz.

Obtaining 50% DS from 1 grief ww and the other grief ww is doing x2 20% DS. Call it as you will, it's the same as a single grief doing 40% DS. I never claimed both griefs get a 40% DS each = 80% DS. That's just crazy :P

WW has nothing to do with being frozen, true. But having a mana burn / stone skin / PI / cold enhanced Ismail is annoying as hell. Your Berserk speed will be significantly slow and you can't use ww on him.

We agree about griefs :)
Thanks for your comment and input
