thanks for posting this...
have a mid80 tridin right now, building him up is slow going as I am new to the game again. super fun to play but fragile with the ormus I use now. I'll never get that chains of honor haha
Also not sure exactly how to use the other skill points left over...also have some questions on how best to distribute endgame stat points (for max block with HS using dragonscale)
here's my endgame plan for the merc since I'll never be able to afford faith bow...
act2 holyfreeze using Treachery armor, Pride polearm, ?andyhelm?
What do you think? I play on europe scl. Haven't seen anything remotely similar
hmmm
Unless you already have one, Coh >pride as an investment to your characters.
If this still isnt doable, and your not as durable as you'd like, I'd trade the ormus for a nice Vmagi with good res. Up it if you want to get fancy. Upwards of 50 res or an ias slot along with good defense, makes this my second pick.
For the merc.
Pride is a no go. There's a stack of weps better then this. Unless your using a Rift Caddy, dont even consider it. Then , Reapers>Pride for phy damage. (safer too)
If you can swing it, a rift eth thresher on a might merc is pretty tight. Two of you proc'ing made orbs rocks. His are just as powerful as yours*.
The act 5 barbs are cool with voice of reason eth 2h elite swords.
Harmony on a cold arrow (Great bow/Shadow Bow) is fabulous and that vigor with charge is as close to teleporting a pally can hope to get. Tons of mix damage too, with ranged leach for the merc. Outstanding. ) (treach+leach hat)
Take a peak at some of the lower end setups I posted.
With respect to end game points.
I wouldnt have maxed holyshield, but it's a good skill regardless.
I feel that maxing foh and its syngery (holyshock) is priority one.
I'd Then max holybolt and hammer for the extra holy bolt damage.
foh, holybolt, Fire damage on melee from rift+dragonscale along with the procs and firewall are the bread and butter of this build. Fireballs get used but more as a tactic vs a primary attack. (wall is better if your looking for fire, hits more too)
(hydra gets used for scouting mostly and looking godly in norm baal runs)
