if you mean ubers then you better want some cb and the only source of cb of your whole eq are the gores, also you`ll need more ar.. ouch

why no block..
because a wolf blocks pretty slow
and 75 prisma is one nice thing wink.gif

look at the damage and speed of grief.. botd is a joke

how important are 40 vita, if you deal several K damage and can get 8% ll and magedamred...

strength istead of life is the idea for pvm.. as I have said, I am totally aware of the differences between pvp and pvm

i had 24k ar with this build, don't need any more :/

yes wolf block is slow unfortunately, but no need for res as with treachery pre buff you should be able to at least hit 75 res against mephistos conviction

yes grief is better (i said it in the guide) but it's bm in gm melee duels

magic damage reduce does barely anything and no need for life leach on this, i never went below half health in full baal games (bad tps etc) with dolls and souls everywhere (and with life tap soon enough you will get all your life back)

if one does not need ress, one can easily get more dam/ar from the second weapon wizzy is only one of several choices

@ bm/gm duels.. then rather pick an ethereal rangfe 3 weapon for either botd or oath, or a very fast 2nd weapon and speedbug a death

and the 24k ar will go down if you improve the damage

one more question..would druid charms be useful for this build, would they stack? or is it just better to stick with the charms you mentioned?

if you're not going to use a shield you're better off with eth tomb reaver not two weapons

the 24k ar is mainly from angelics, i used a grief pb and i tried to make that clear in the guide, and you won't stand a chance in melee without a shield, also range sould not matter in a gm melee duel.

I made this build with the only difference being that i used bloodfists instead of dracs and i didnt go all out with charms. I gotta say, he is slow as hell in pvm, and the only chars ive consistenly beaten were kicksins and melee druids but i didnt duel with him that often cuz he sucked. Even w/ griefpb the dmg this guy does is sooo slow, and for pvm, w/ his slow blockrate he gets overwhelmed by groups of monsters easily (he doesnt die, it just takes him FOREVER to kill big groups of monsters) This build is fun though, and im sure that it would have been decent if i felt like getting all the necessary charms. If anyone is interested in building a wolfbarb, i have a very nice cham'd wolfhowl ft (3 wc skills, 5 feral rage, 6 werewolf, 6 lycanthropy, 150 ed w/ perf base def, 8 str, 15 dex, 14 vite)

sorry sad.gif it's not really an amazing build more of a fun less common build that works but not so efficiently as some other overpowered classes (hdins etc), it's a good tank and has the ability to take down ubers and take on some in pvp but i'm surprised you didn't put amazons in that list because i never lost to one on my wolfbarb and always stood a good chance against any other melee character. Also max damage charms make quite a difference in the damage.

i didnt duel that much with him because i got very discouraged with him soon after i built. I think i dueled 2 decent bowzons and got owned by both. Also, since i didnt go all out and get a bunch of charms for it, i had a lot of trouble getting perf res.

Cool guide, don't see many wolf barbs around so any supporting of it is always nice. Ive used Grief & Ebotd, I really don't notice much of a difference I prefer Ebotd. The problem w/ wolfbarbs are they don't deal great dmg, why would you want pb over zerkers? You should try a phoenix shield, it's great for dmg and its nice vs fc javazons etc, I didn't see any mention of this...it's a MUST for any wolfbarb.

First nice guide.
Second I have a wolf barb that roughly the same build, but I use zerks. I knowww they are a bit slower however ebotdz has done pretty well for me. Just curious..how do u take out smiters and ww barbs? Personally for barbs i can tank threw ww and kill, but for smiters i had to give in and give a point to ww (which if used correctly eats up a smiter). So yea just curious how you deal with these classes.

As for dealing w/ hammerdin/smiters I use Death Decap for the dmg/cb/ds etc. I'm going to try a ebotd staff and upd rib cracker, not sure how well those will turn out. If you pre-buff you could always hold 2x fort weapons w/ fort armor and enjoy the nice def bonuses vs ww its really nice.
