Question, how are you supposed to clear travincal.. Anything? when you have NOTHING.. ?, lets say u start a new char on the ladder reset, you level your character, at level 80, you got nothing.. you should be in White gear probably.. what do you do with a gold find barb UNTIL you got gear to clear travincal with?.. please answer

Jonny- go to the archway, the very center of trav just before you go to durance 1. Stand just before it or underneath it. This will trap all of the travincal guys at that point and prevent them from running all over. This will also allow your merc to kill the stuff without taking too much dmg. Do as the guide suggests and stun them at that point.

very nice guide, only thing I changed is 1 point find item, 15 into leap.
this way I've got lower MF and high lvl warcry/leap, which seems to be working extremely well.

Since this comment is on the third page noone will probably see it but, just thought you should end every game in act 4 so you dont have to run all the way across the act 3 map.

Didn't read the replies, but noticed in the guide you said immune to physical ismail can be a problem.

Just keep a wand in your cube (in you inventory) with amp damage charges.
Replace one of your bo sticks with it so you can just switch to it real fast, cast, and switch back to your lem'd swords.
This will take away the immunity, along with making your merc really hurt the other ones. smile.gif

Fire resistances is pretty much not important versus hydras.
For some reason, with 2x dwarf stars on and any fire resistance, hydras from the council will not hurt you!
Other fire things can hurt you, though, like fire enchanted.
You can be more focused on your lr/cr for those hierophants that may be casting at you.

considering +7 barb skills and +5 warcry skillers, my chances are as high as 45%, so 10% increase for 19 more skill points doesn't seem worthwhile.

thats a lot more items vs few advantages that leap offers that wc doesnt

I like the layout, but problems.

I made this barb using Hero Editor and tested on open so i didn't waste fg making this barb.

I use the exact setup you say to use here, using gear options 1. (I.e Ik Helm, Bonehew...etc)

I tried hell first and, my mana is so low I can only cast about 1 WC, my merc has trouble killing normal, non unique council members, and he dies easily.

I tried in nightmare and although my merc could kill everything with ease, I got like 100k, I can get more then that on an mf sorc.


I followed this exact so please don't say I did something wrong. Fix the guide.
