I tried a few run with the circlet, so far pretty good. Seems to clear slightly faster because he stop missing and hits everytime now. But run somemore to see his performance against stupid mods.

I've been using this to farm AT, pindle, and the pit on players 8. It's not much slower than doing it as berserk without enigma.

Hah, that's funny.
I was just finishing up a dumb MF alternative that leans on the Mercenary instead of using Grief. With proper Telestomp / Howl it turns out the Merc can do just fine a lot of the time.
It's mostly for shits and giggles, but anyway, here it is.

My biggest gripe with my dumb idea is that it's 100% incorrect to get more MF if you can hit additional Find Item breakpoints :rofl:

That's awesome. I'm at 485 mf and 1800 gf right now. With the lowered game cool down I can kill pindle and eldritch right on the timer also. It's a good break from Trav runs.

Im not sure if it was covered but this strat while great on PC is a bit anoying in d2r for console for 1 reason…. You have to rebund amp damage every single game because any ability with charges never stay key bound from game to game. While only a minor inconvenience, it gets anoying and I find myself not even using amp half the time as a result

Did you try logging out with your non-Gavel weapons equipped?

Yeah; it's a very old D2 bug that if you log out with your charge weapons on swap you end up losing the bind.
D2R was even worse on release, but in the recent patch they seem to have gone back to the "old" bug, which lets you keep the bind if it's not your logout weapon.

To keep it from unbinding you have to exit the game WITH gavel on for console and it stays bound. Thanks for the advice, may want to add this somewhere in your guide cuz the rebind was super anoying

For some reason why merc dies really quickly now vs conviction when I changed to the visionary circlet instead of andariel. Instead of dying due to -resist hydra damage, he seems to get burst down rather quickly via melee attacks. Weird

However without conviction, he is doing a pretty nice job now
