Thanks, I had already read that. If you’ll reread the first part of my post, you’ll note that I’m testing non-traditional builds. :)

So we have two main formats, Standard (your basic fort, gface and/or meta setup) and NMFG (no meta, fort or gface). Now there are a few big GM melee communities so not everyone follows or has these formats but as far as the one I’m in those are the two shifter formats. Idk if you’re familiar with tap and non-tap with gm zeal but it’s like that. NMFG has blown up and is by far the more popular of the two at this point allowing you to use a much wider range of weapons with or without base ias. And gets you away from the cookie cutter wolf which while it is extremely strong and serves its purpose vs other classes, is very limited. Some of your theory crafted setups above would fall under that format. (Death is universally banned for wolves to use in gm to my knowledge in all communities fyi). If you have any questions go ahead and dm me. I might not answer tonight but I will get back to you.

If you want to go into pubs and duel hammerdins that teleport on top of you. It's not a melee pvp weapon.

If you have a eth 280ed / 50@ / 3os
It’s useable in matchups where you need the res.

The res@ is literally the only reason you would use it.
Many other 2-hand options offer better dmg.
In melee vs melee you’ll most likely want a shield. Or if using a 2-hand then you would want either a gg eth rare fools, or even just a botd or death as they give you more dmg and you don’t need the res from tomb reaver.

A high roll eReaver is not a bad option for pvm if you care about the mf. But it’s still not optimal dmg-wise.
