A small update on the "1 point zerker" variant.

I'm really, really happy with it. Fixed most of my problems that I had at p1: merc clunkiness vs immunes and WW eg variant way too fast clearing speed.

You can pick either CTA mainhand (5kdps) or grief (15k) and as "off hand" utility I think that Demonlimb is a clear pick (Lem'ed), but if you are lazy with prebuff you can use w/ever, 6x lem weapon/wspike for FCR/cta for buffer or hoto-spirit for a mix of FCR & buffer or even rhyme for CBF if u don't want to cham your helm.

I do prefear grief, couz I'm a lazy boy and I want to kill those immu ASAP with my swap. Main set up is the classic 12x Lemmed CS and merc doing his things.

I went 4k hp post BO and rest STR with 1 cham on helm, wich held a tiny bit less of Gold/run due to killing immunities on grief side but has make my life much, much easier and I feel like the baba is "more fun" to play.

I feel like the barb finally come togheter due to shout sinergy with berserk, extra points sinked in weapon mastery and better use of stats points. Max Shout & BO & Weapon mastery; 55%FI Breakpoint; 1 point in berserk & WC & Battle Command; 1plus into Speed & nat resistances at will.

Happy that you moved into Hades with GG jewels, but if I can push you in the "right" direction, on D2 NL a couple of PvM nerds where set that the most universal "GG" armor base for merc was prob 24%FHR jeweler, especially if you DO NOT use GFace.

Faster hit recovery is more important than what you think for a merc and that armor comes with 4 OS to hit. At some point I did a "Gucci" armor with 4x unperm duped total perfect jewels (when they were running around 1k each :drool: ) but I can't find a screenshot anywhere atm :unsure: I posted it on the forum tho, maybe would be worth a look at least for the memory ;)

For me tho GFace is way too good to pass up on basically any merc that does not need LL on helm, it has EVERYTHING you want for your merc. You go from 17 to 11 Hit recovery frames on TOP of all that DPS. It's unreal how good that set item is, honestly.

Already tried out the Arioc's Needle a2 Merc and the "Endgame" a5 Merc.
Got to say though, that the a5 Merc feels much stronger in the survivability field,
so I'm rockin this one for now...

Yeah, the Merc is seriously bad. It's hard to explain until you've tried Teleport for repositioning at Trav, which is a pretty closed off area anyway.
There's a lot of room for comfort picks on the gear side; with the 60s timer being back, I've reverted back to a more DPS-centric setup, but when the timer was 90s I was running Black Hades/Hone Sundan with a 3os Circlet for the 9 sockets to dedicate to Goldfinding.

They changed it back, and now it's 90s. I guess they kept it dynamic 60 / 80 / 90s depending on server load :(
