I wouldn't go hammer at all for pub stomping. Any class can absorb, I'd rather BM with plague jav because it's way easier to hit people with plague than random hammers, and it's harder to counter even if you try to BM me back.

That’s totally great, but OP didn’t ask for a good plague javazon build, they asked for a good hammer build.

I’ve never built a pure plaguer but my hybrid tele bow/plague zon does pretty well. Nothing bm though aside from plague itself since people cry about its existence. I would imagine stacking 400 res while wearing sorb and maintaining decent breakpoints would be a lot more difficult on a zon than on an hdin, but I’ve never tried it so I’m not sure.

I've never encountered a single person in pubs who had proper PLR to counter BM plague, whereas almost every game I enter has someone who could easily crush a BM hammerdin who doesn't even use foh

You are the person who decided that for some reason "BM hammerdin is the only way to pub" when it was never asked in the first place. Your claim isn't even correct

Shako is better most of the time. It even got an indirect buff when fhr became less useful

Bro, deaths hand by itself is not remotely close to enough. GL getting kills on your hammerdin if you're on cleansing aura. Keep in mind that plague zons have plenty of extra skill points to have a bow switch

I also have 25 on tri res poison boots and cleansing isn’t on while hammering or charge/smiting. I dunno what to tell you man I do pretty well with this hammerdin and it’s just a pub fuckaround build that I don’t really spend much time on.

I don’t know why you are even talking about plague zon in a hammer build thread anyway.

Also to your other point, OP didn’t specify GM tournament dueling or pub or whatever, and seeing as how they are asking for a hammer build in 2022 in the first place, I would assume they aren’t at the highest level of play or are trying to take this into a tournament.

I also will gladly admit I am not at the highest level of play either. People are so uptight in these forums lol. There’s a handful of people in this world that take this silly ass game’s pvp seriously.
