I wouldn’t play vita though, might swell go 50/50 since you can max tk while maxing all fire synergies and you can reach 3k life 3k mana anyway with 23k dmg

I think Obsession can be really good with the right base+mods.
Looking at it, a +3hydra staff could potentially save hardpoints being placed into the actual hydra skill, but still have it gain full synergy. The damage might not be as good as having 20hard pts but this could open up options to maybe full vita + es/tk with maybe 1.8k -2k mana if we tweak the gear abit (crafted mana boots/psaphh/some stats etc). This makes for much better nec/windy/hdin matchups.
Not needing the extra str to use monarch shield gives more life on top of +max from obsession.
Potential for higher dmg but more importantly weaken proc does so much against ww/bowzon/kicks.
