First version was more detailed (2 more pages) but we though it was enough like it

PikaBum finally stopped whining about everyone around beeing crap zon players and wrote a guide^^
Not to mention it should have been done like a half decade ago but well... better later than never;)

I really like the idea of the 'discuss' between the 2 authors
as it shows more than 1 possible playing style and gear choice.

Imo you should've mentioned a huge damah javelin as an alternative...
1 pt penetrate and crit along with some decent dmg eth rep 40ias/x sk javelins would definitelly give a nice punch when throwing (possibility of owning bm crapp sorbers just by furying-kb them to death).
Also, when having decent ar, landing javeling will cause block animation and that's a few frames of advantage.
2 skill points is just a loss of ~600 onscren dmg as far as I remember.

The guide also lacks videos of you 2 playing your own style.
Vids are always inspiring and definitelly give a lot better source of info about gameplay than written strategies (which a lot of people simply skip...)

Other than that it's the best guide @ jsp.
It's stylistically very clear and that's very important cause some guides are simply unreadable due to the bad choice of a font, size and colours.
Tho some minor language mistakes are present^^

Do I have to skill Critical Strike and Penetrate?

No, we tried a setup with physical damage, with a lot of Open Wounds and Critical Strike with high ED Ethereal Repl javelins, but the fact it is that the Javazon is an elemental character and if you wish to do decent physical damage you will have to max your stash with this EQ switch which makes you lose flexibility versus other characters. When someone tries to absorb you just simply brb with another character and slap them silly.
This is the reason why we decided to max the synergies instead to put skill points in Critical Strike and Penetrate.

As stated above we've tried this but as it takes up way too much space and isn't really that effective we decided to not emphasize it. I only really found it useful vs wind druids to be honest. If someone sorbs you/bms you on a javazon you will lose, doesnt matter if you have some phys dmg or not ^^

The video thing is a valid point and we did think about it, however, lack of time and eacb not having his zon ready + me having mine on LS didn't make it easier. If anyone wants advice in any match up they're welcome to post here and/or pm me or eacb, either we make a vid or try to be more detailed. Pvp, as many other things, are very subjective to the player it self more than the match up. A lot depends on the counter part, how they play, if they're offensive or not etc.

If you could point out the grammar mistakes that would be great.

As written in part 3, we tried together 4/40/eth/repl with critical and penetrate. Using hl, to have ~80cs. I tried also to add a psn sc... I tried all i guess... But physical dmg are still low, we are not a bowa full of scs using a jav. Javazon stays an elemental char and full sorbers are a pain ...

And yes, add some videos would be great indeed.
