you are correct, for foh you would get more damage off the rose branded (3 pcomb skills) but you would lose 2 conviction levels which may come into play when attempting to cancel the opponent.

It is in my opinion that priests (2 all skill) is a better choice for most situations.

its hard to say.

The base res you can get 113% dmg equivalence witha ber and a 40/9 and 45 base res, that puts it slightly less effective than HoZ in terms of damage, less AR, less Vitality and less res.

I would probably only use a priests of deflecting with 65% and jewel it to only use vs smiters (not for sva or s v vt)

For an all purpose shield you would be better suited with a jstod jeweled well, a spirit, or an upd hoz.

(assuming we are talking no exile dueling)

Theres a reason why only 2 sheilds are on all builds for smiters. BECAUSE THEY WORK. THIS GAME IS OVER 10 YEARS OLD THERES NOTHING NEW

Too bad there are a lot of smiters on West and ten years later 9/10 smiters use hoz which they have been told to use forever when there are other options that work great

what the fuck are you talking about...players who where told use an item lols..... Theres a reason upd hoz works. Zackurum sheilds give the highest damage for smite period. There is no other option. Upd hoz is it dude.
