still skill it more like a light sorc......
cb is great vs es... nova sucks.
lightning gives range and higher dmg-can make trappers a bit easier.
ts still hurts and is passive. ts is also hurt by minion stack, res, sorb, etc so it is just not worth maxing.

max: telek, get 95 es, mastery, lightning, nova, cb. i would even max nova last as cb and lightning are overall better in my opinion....also its synergies of each other

edit: i realize you cannot max all of these..........you know what I mean.

Lol... cookie cutter build. No Thanks. OG nova is the way to go.

After playing around with a 117fcr light sorc wielding infinity you quickly realize that a lvl 12 conviction aura dont have a huge range.
Most of the times you hit some one in pvp, the aura issent activated yet. Thats why CB and/or nova is the top choice when you opt for wielding Infinity.

so hitting someone is not okay? you do not get hit from that distance. you chip away at them.......... its fine. if they charge you or play too offensive, you get lightning with conviction aura. its not a big deal whether conv is active or not when you hit them

Perfectly valid point. Chipping away is why I opted for tstorm. Lightning is more of a utility skill for doing exactly as you described, firing at a distance. The damage is significantly lower than a pure light sorc though, so I try to avoid using it. Conviction has a 13.3 yard radius no matter what level it is, which is a bit lower than your Lightning range.

You sacrifice too much in terms of survivability and damage to reach 117 fcr when wielding Infinity, so your best bet is Nova or Charged Bolt as a main attack. I chose Nova because its easy and nostalgic for me. It moves fast enough that if you're within range your opponent WILL get hit. Charged Bolt is a valid attack though with its own merits. It will shred ES faster and has a larger area of attack with a sleep factor and is better at clearing minions. Also a telestomp CB is excruciating to opponents. However telestomping most opponents is suicide for this character due to lower mana, no block, and low life.

Both Nova and CB have their merits though, and either is acceptable as a primary attack. I just opted for Nova. :P

Seems like you dont get my point. Staying away is perfectly fine tactic. But its much better done on a normal/pure light sorc.

tstorm is easy overcome since it cannot be aimed. stack >..... you would be better with getting higher lightning. apart of being nostalgic, nova does not have any advantages really compared to other lightning skills.nova does not have any defensive capabilities really unless the person you are dueling is not stacked at all and has no sorb on then I guess its almost autowin anyway...building it more like a lightning sorc would give you the advantage to switch to hoto/spirit if you need, give you range that actually can damage something if you need to l8z a bit, cb to counter es, and still have decent nova to deal with w/e you want to use it against (perhaps zons)

The simple fact you want 142% FHr and 95% ES tells me your guide is crap.
