wouldnt using last wish zerker and ss be a better choice? i do believe the crushing blow, fade, and lifetap is extreme gg pvm/pvp and ss = easy max block?

Bigsipo's Berserker uses crushing blow items, I do not, it is not really needed.
Last wish is very good indeed (well the fade is), but it lacks killing speed compared to grief.
As for ss, yes it is a good Shield for easy max block, but with the berserk skill, you would get into Blocklock faster and cannot do anything (but alot
of ppl will say that ss is the better choice)
Another reason i like Pheonix, is because of the 350%-400% e/dmg, which means a shite load more magical damage.
Life Tap is useless for this build, when using berserk skill, you can not leech life at all, not even from life tap, this is another reason for using Pheonix.

Can this build still work without an inventory full of dmg/ar/life charms?
~how many hits to kill andy in a solo game does it take your barb?

I do not use full inventory of dmg/ar/life charms, only 3. Here is an animated s/s of my barb with items.
Basically in pvte game you kill bosses in about 2-4 hits, Diablo and baal maybe more.

By the way I have 2-4 cold dmg mods on my FHR sc's (4 sc's in total), also 3x 3/x/6-11 fire dmg sc's, and 3x 3/20/20 sc's on, that is why my max dmg has increased from previous screenshot.

I like it. Its a good cheap Char. Would b fun 2 play, although Ill take my light sorcy ne day =)
