A couple of things:

1) You don't need 150% frw to desynch and you don't just suddenly start desynching at a certain amount of frw. If you ever joined your own mule game using with 2 characters from 2 separate computers and walked one of them around whilst watching on both screens you will see the disparity in where your character is on both screens. Every 6 or so seconds the client updates your position on the other screen so you can appear to 'teleport' around. If you have more frw you can traverse a greater distance between updates and so you appear to 'teleport' further which can make your movements harder to predict as long as you dont do things like run in a straight line for too long.

You can desynch at walking speed depending on how good or bad your connection is compared to the other client and when bnet just spazzes out generally because my ping is uneven at the best of times.

2) You can wear Stormshield with no investment in strength assuming you can get high str from a crafted ring and str on your ias/kb gloves.

My hybrid has no strength on gloves and a 20 str ring and needed 8 points in strength in order to carry a -15 req'ed stormshield and not be glitched. i.e. my bowazon does not leave multiple corpses because the +str from stormshield is not required to carry itself. -15 req'ed stormshield requires 133 strength to wear. Stormshield is great for the huge res and huge DR. Its cheap too which is nice considering pretty much everything else you have to wear costs a bomb. Great defensive shield.

I never said you need 150 to desync. Unless you are claiming 0% frw is good enough to desync for your duels, then what I said is correct.

ring: 25
gloves:15
travs: 10
shako: 2
torch: 20
anni: 20
base: 20

112

leaving 21 stat'd points into strength assuming you have perfect gear.

But the -15 jewel is a waste of a socket. It prevents you from wearing dol'd ss/jah'd ss/shael'd ss.

Not disputing the fact that ss is a great choice for zva, just claiming there are better choices.

Yeah you did:

Your NET faster run walk has to be 150+. this is why people aim for 150 frw - to desync. You start desyncing around 140-145 but it actually becomes effective after 150-170.

You forgot the +20 str you get from Titans.

Theres also +15 str from nos coil if you decide to use that.

Sure you miss out on +50 life (which is nice I'll admit) but you could equally say that you miss out on 40%ed by not using a 40/-15. Ultimately it comes down to playstyle but SS is decent because its cheap, pretty much solves all of your DR problems and gives a huge boost to your res whilst having reqs that you can meet with zero to very little investment in strength. It would be my top choice anyway unless you are a crazy mofo and want a super offensive jav setup (in which case feel free to JMoD that shit up)

Sorry, that must have been an outdated version of my FAQ's that I posted. Nonetheless, it is true that you need 150+ to make desync usable in pvp. I was wrong to post you start desync'ing at 140, The lowest that I was able to test was at 110ish. I will fix this in the later versions of this guide.

If you rely on the 20 str from titans, you won't be able to pick up your shield if you die with your bow out.

Nice guide

However, as a trap player I need to disagree on the trapper strategy though. A trapper with maxblock switch will tank quite many arrows and once he gets near you its practically hopeless for you. He can just chainlock you all over the moor even if you wsg away. Really its next to hopeless match if the trapper is good
