could you post a screen shot of your java's?
I don't use javelins, and the weapons have screen shots on the second post.

in response to the nihl finding guide, there is an easier way to  find him than that

ask this guy for his guide: http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=273380
Oh, that's a handy little trick. ohmy.gif
But if I knew that, I would of missed a few extra exp shrines while taking the first wrong path. smile.gif

I know this is a pvm guide, but if you have ever tried it, how effective is this build in pvp?

Since, we don't use javelins, the range is limited, so you have to duel far, far better than your opponent does with using leaps at the right place and getting the throws off.
And without merc, the ar/damage and speed drop a bit, so it isn't too great.

For the idiots who have hostiled me in baal runs with their sorceresses and necromancers while using their mercenaries, they all got owned (didn't expect throw+out dueled).

Fighting casters is doable, but anyone with high defense/block is going to beat you in most cases.

For this, I've made another picture in paint! lol smile.gif

At the center of the image, there is a red dot. This red dot represents you. Use leap right in place. Hold shift down, and click right on yourself.

The blue dots represent monters/enemies.

Allow the broken, rounded black lines to represent your leap radius. As you get a higher level leap, the radius will expand to a full screen (and even farther if you were to want to; usually done in pvp bvc chars).

Shown by the arrows, leap will push your enemies back and slightly stun them for a moment as you move them back.
This move can be used to click on a monster and hold leap down on them to pin them to a wall and/or push all the surrounding monsters away, if needed.

At lower levels without much +skills gear on, leap isn't very effective, but when you get gear on, it will be your best friend. smile.gif

If you would like to see it demonstrated, I can show this on East softcore on ladder or nonladder.

You forgot the monsters go "aghghgh" or "unhhh".

And other players go "god fucking damnit quit".

Haha, that is correct.
They do make those little grunting sounds.
Fallens are rather annoying with their high pitched "ah," "eh," "aye;" more like shrieks, if you ask me. smile.gif

Yea, that's a nice way to sum up the skills for 1-60 when not getting rushed/leveled rather than searching throughout all the posts. smile.gif
