hey man. thnx alot for the guide, i built one myself on uswest nl and its great. by far my favorite build so far. the only builds i have a hard time with are bvc barbs and smiters who put on a whole bunch of fire sorb gear. I can't seem to kill the barbs quick enough before they keep teleing into me and eventually hitting me enough times to kill me. And i have ran into smiters that i couldn't even touch after they put on fire sorb gear. maby you can help me out with this. oh yea and and i was wondering what you thought about imps instead of sandstorm treks you still get the 20% fhr but with huge res bonuses. other than that though it has proven to be a ton of fun i love to pk with this build. oh and what is your charge dammage with the hoj zerker because i have a legendary mallet and my charge dammage is 5413-5905 before venom kicks in, and i think thats pretty good but i was curious what the benifit to having the zerker is.

Just Curious as to why you picked Fire over Freeze or Shock.

Forgive me if these numbers are wrong, using a skill planner to show base damage, and I'm tired atm happy.gif

Fire.........Fire Damage: 643-713 to your attack || Fire Damage: 107.2-118.8
Cold........Cold Damage: 998-1025 to your attack || Cold Damage: 199-205 || Enemies slowed 54 percent
Shock......Lightning Damage: 1-3931 to your attack || Lightning Damage: 4-655

Seems to me that for the highest damage potential, shock would outweigh Fire, although you have that nasty chance to roll low damage dry.gif

Then Cold even has more damage to attack and greater aura damage than Fire, plus the ability to slow.

Just wondering if you know of a good reason Fire is the way to go over at least cold, because it would seem, on paper, that cold has fire beat.

thats simple, the holy fires auras from dragon armor, dragon shield, hoj, stack
which means u have lvl 44 holy fire evil.gif , with holy freeze u can only have low lvl with doom, and with holy shock u can have lvl 30 with dual dream
there so holy fire is the way to go given to insane lvl 44 damage

i dunno man lvl 44 fire is so weak

the thing with a doom is you also have a perm -40-60 resist along with ur conviction. and +2 all skills and 45 IAS!
which totally changes your gear setup

with lighting i feel that u always get half of w/e ur max lighting damage is on average. its more fun with doing PvM

i think i might try that for sure. a Charger using conviction built around a Doom.

Heat, ive tried that already, a doom as weapon, with dream bv, dream shield and coh
doom is good for charge but ive tried and ebotdz in this situation is better or even grief to smite evil.gif
The point is, holy fire auradin with lvl 44 has much more pulse damage and adds a ton of fire damage to the charge attack, doom has 45%ias, and hoj has 33%ias, so no biggi
charge attack with lvl 44 holy fire has minimun damage 3k at least...

I just have some questions regarding this build, i never tried this before

1) Does this still work in 1.11 Patch?

2) Can you give an extimate of how much dmg it does? 1k? 5k? (and how much the average holy shock does?) I tried to do skill planner and it still seemed to me that holy shock is more effective since it doesnt require a weapon/armor slot.

Nice guide, im making a hybrid though smile.gif my gear that I have so far:

10%ed sup bone visage dream (23%fhr, 16 resists, +205 (426 total))
sacred targe dream (23%fhr, 63 resist (44+19), +217 def (380 total)) (I was happy when I saw the roll biggrin.gif)

111/40/15 dungos
20/15 ptorch
20/12/6 anni
20/247 raven
20/242 raven

gear I plan on getting:
28+ maras
hoj zerker
dragon dusk
resist/life sc's and gc's
Up'd 65 life waterwalks (like these more than treks, already have reached the 86%fhr bp and life/dex outways the str/vit on treks biggrin.gif)

Pure firedin is better than hybrid, because they almost deal nothing dmg.. If u want hybrid still use dragon+dragon+hoj+dream instead og dream+dream+dragon+hoj, with 2 dreams u will get just bad dmg on both aura's, better with 1x700 dmg than 2x300 dmg, trust me:P
