Low ar setups are extremely inconsistent which is why I don't suggest using one in tournies or bet/ladder matches. When they hit they do very well, but then they go cold so you would never be able to win a tourney with a low ar setup unless you're having a very lucky day or the other kids are just bad. I personally liked ber pally vis + highlords + ebotdz shaft setup and it does really well sometimes but like I said I would never have brought that into a tourney since it would be unlikely that I would win. Although I did sometimes use it as a last resort setup and it did save me on a few occasions but that's melee

As far as spirit/hoz go it comes down to preference tbh. Some people always go with spirit I (and most other top melees) go with hoz. There isn't to big of a difference with either option though so it doesn't make a huge diff.
