for some reason u find it necessary to divide Y by X and think the result is a valid #, its not, thats why u end up with this illogical conclusion that you are doing triple the dmg with DR,
youre only doing 1.5x the damage, because 150/100(original unchanged amount) = 1.5
where did you get the sliding scale for damage? the comparison is the same damage, not less and less as the DR increases.
0 dr + amp'd + 100 dmg attack
50 dr + amp'd + 100 dmg attack
that's the same damage. you just made up the declining damage total.
