Now imagine that sorc is a doom/mb build, with tons of facets, and maxed out mastery, and she lowers your resistances to 0%, while mine are still at 75%. Props to you, you're now taking 4x the damage I am. And the second you encounter a v/t, you'll have to lose your coa & maybe even beast, which leaves you with a peashooter against his ak-47

+MAX CHARMS ADD SHIT
i'm not sure why this is so hard to grasp. The damage from +max charms is utterly inconsequential. I would do almost exactly the same damage with 20/5's as 3/20/20's, taken to the extreme. Even in a 'balanced set up', theres no reason to wear shitty charms. The best balance is the one that uses the best charms. Sure a duel where that last 75% extra resists comes in handy might only be against blizz sorcs or v/ts, but the +45 max damage you could get instead would never make a difference, whereas that 75% extra resist is the difference between dying in 4 hits and dying in 16 hits.
