Getting a few hits at a time with LS isn't difficult, but that's completely (or damn close to completely) absorbed by Cyclone Armor.

that's where kicks come into play
they totally, totally mess up druids (0p or 1p venom and 0 ow is fine) if you can kick them while they are in stunned

trappers can be tough but hybridsins are much, much tougher
even the good trappers I've dealt, its still not much in their favor, not compared to what a ghost/hybrid/etc can do.

against trappers you can do things you couldn't do to hybrids like drop volcanos/fissures that interrupt their locks (keep mind blasting me while you fry!), or l8z, etc.
I really don't fear trappers at all in duel games, but I give hybrids a bit o distance

well most trappers in pubs totally suck

so do most druids >.>

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with this.

I think I've yet to come across a Lightning Trapper that I cannot beat with my Fire Trapper (in pubs). Which is kinda sad.
Good druids are not so uncommon.
