Doesn't work better vs. split spawns, but it works well when you get a clumped up Council.
Tried it and I kinda like it after suggested it, but let's be real: asking people to use a Jah rune on an Amp Damage is pretty silly given the alternative.

I'd be a lot more keen on it if it was 100% proc rate & Council was a perfectly static spawn, but it's fine.
Doesn't help that the Merc sometimes starts killing before the Council is cursed while you get in Melee range on Brand, not swapped back to the GF/MF sticks.

Technically you should still need to repair if you're using a Tele Amulet, so it's not much of a difference unless you also skip Tele Amulet for Enigma.

Because it's just not as controllable :(
Sometimes the Council is split and the fuckers aren't very cooperative. Merc will land kills when they're uncursed and you lose out on the GF/MF stick bonus; you just have way more control with Gavel.

I've spent the better part of my last year and a half playtesting about everything I could setup-wise.
I've wasted more time than I care to count Leaping the council into walls while waiting for my dumbfuck Merc to walk to them.
Even wasted time on the A1/A3/A5 Mercs trying to see if there was anything worth a damn there.

Had to do a couple of adjustments to fit the 60s timer & trim off the fat to ensure sub-1 minute speed, since that became the new threshold and we didn't need to care about Realm Down anymore.

The one thing I haven't bothered with was just building as a generic DPS Barb (i.e: Frenzy/Zerk), since that's just a beefy Pitzerker with extra steps.
You can just take a Pitzerker template & swap out MF with GF and you can get a perfectly great GF/MF hybrid setup. Takes longer to goldcap, but you also get to run Pits, Pindle, etc.

I've seen a couple interesting spins on it, Singers or Frenzy/Zerk Barbs doing the clears themselves, etc.

None came close in terms of gold farmed per hour, sadly.
Many people were telling me they didn't stash/pick up items fast enough to break the 60s anyway, so maybe it's not that big of a difference.

If they ever remove the timer entirely, I think Frenzy/Zerk builds might have slightly better results, although not by a whole lot.

When I talk about the zerk barb, im not really talking about using berserk to clear the entire council for gold farming. You will lose far to much gold. While some do use this setup. Mine is meant for clearing that one annoying council member instantly. No different from having to tele stomp it but with better effectiveness and faster.

also if you point spread correctly, its ideal similar to a pitzerker but setup as a gold farm barb with low fcr.

I know you aren't talking about this, it was pretty clear from your previous comments.
But the goldfind Barb is kind of in a weird spot right now; MF is still worth something in D2R, which wasn't the case in Legacy (unless super early in Ladder), so there's still a lot of value to running the GF/MF hybrid, even if it's only to sell gamble packs.
That's why the Pitzerker hybrid concept isn't all that bad, for now. Maybe in a year we'll be back to 0fg items & 2fg Bers :rofl:
Legacy was just "max gold at all costs, fill 1 stash, gamble & move on with your life."

The Zerker split to kill 1 council member doesn't feel particularly needed to me? You can already just telestomp the Conviction & Merc will snap-focus it.
If point-spreading to get Zerk means you lose Amp Damage & that you stay out of your GF/MF sticks just for 1 super unique kill occasionally, I don't think I really get it.
I think if telestomping wasn't a thing, I would see the purpose of it. But because it's so simple to just right-click Tele your target & force an attack, it feels hugely unnecessary unless you plan to use it for more than 1 target.

The upside is definitely the Demon Limb offhand on swap, but that shouldn't compensate for the triple damage from Amp.

I have no idea. I have the same problem on PC for the weapon swap Gavel.
The Teleport stays bound, but the Gavel/Demon Limb keeps unbinding for me.

Frustrating bug and I haven't figured out how to fix it.
