K I play east. However I'll only get 48 dr and about 100-150 less life like this, but I guess it's a fair trade as I'll only be using this against defensive casters where dr doesn't matter. Am I right?

rep swap sucks on hybrids, since you should be wsm bugging anyway.

If you are using a 4 dol shield and cta as your source of rep you will need to swap whenever you wish to rep, which has 2 drawbacks: 1. you rep less over time since you won't be on your swap very often, and 2. you have to wsm bug every single time you do so.

to be honest, i dont use rep that often. only on a ring if it really is needed.

otherwise, i just duel without the rep and if its gets really defensive then i use the switch shield + sit in corner with traps method.

Dude I just made a 28 rep shield to test and omg it's so slow. I don't understand how you can regain any significant life with 40 life rep in an actual duel. It takes about a 45-50 seconds for me to gain 100 life.

Also, I noticed that in long duels, I tend to recast bo a lot as it only has a 120 or 130 second duration on my sin. The part that worries me is re-WSMbugging my claws. I'm always a little apprehensive about someone killing me when my claw is picked up. Or even worse, dropping it on the ground :O
Have you figured out a safe way to do this?

Oh that's easy.
Don't play bleeder method sins with GTs and use harder hitting claws to kill opponents faster.
That = less time dueling = nn BO again.

Either that or setup a trap camp in a corner and do it.

if the duel is lasting so long you need to recast bo several times then you can probably get to a safe point to bo yourself and rebug. just practice doing it quick. if you feel unsafe just play without bo for a few seconds until you can do it safely.
if you do happen to die and the claw is on your cursor, save and exit, and the item will be on your cursor when you rejoin. if you drop it for some reason you are fucked. just be safe about it. if in doubt dont wsm bug until safe.

Sins with GTs that stack a lot of life and use a shitload of venom prebuff gear and OW to whittle down their opponents while running and hiding in traps.
AKA boring shittys that drag out the duel.
