How much does the visionary mod actually benefit ww/trap hybrids?
How much easier does that make it to duel high def characters?
Will my hybrid get regularly slapped if I don't find her a visionary circlet?

I'd like to save fg but if it really makes that much of a difference I wouldn't mind shelling out the extra.

if you do not have a fools claw its extremely helpful. if you do have one, it still adds a few thousand AR points and can be useful but isnt required. having 2 sockets is more important (if thats what the question came down to)

however, as you can already guess. it wont hurt you to have it. if u have good traps, you can still hit opponents that have high ar that way. and use ww as a more defense mechanism (a waste, but whatever...)

kb is a bit of a preference, some sin players like it, some hate it. to use a nef rune on it is a waste though, resocket to Um for sure.



you're too spoiled by high end claws.

that claw will wreck people on bnet just fine imo. wsm bug with suwayyah chaos and its fine.
coulda been eth-repair or 2soc then it woulda been gg, but still its a workable claw.

on your scale I'd say its a 3~4, and the top 1% of claws are a 5. for casual bnet play I think it'll do fine.
@piedpiper18: if you already have it, use it. if you are thinking of buying it and have a big budget, maybe keep looking.

its a hybrid claw man... not a ghost one. he really needs the +lightsentry otherwise with my build, he'll end up with like 5-6k traps which if opponents use tgod = shit damage

I guess thats true, woulda been better as a +2 claw or if it had a ls staffmod. but still, you are spoiled by highend claws. you can drain people to death with lower damage claws on bnet fine, that claw packs hefty damage. yeah using it means trap damage will suffer, oh well. still the high ed%/fools on it packs a punch and as far as I remember people on bnet would fall like flies to stuff like that. (well, besides the top few % or talking about high end hybrid vs hybrid)
maybe have stash switch claws for duels where LS matters more if you think its a problem, which it well could be for some opponents with tgods.

still though, a 288/fools/30ias claw being a 2 on a scale of 1-5? you are spoiled by high end claws.
back in my day we drained people to death with shitty claws, uphill through the act5 snow both ways.
