i use a smiter for torch farming so no torch is a given...

Dont waste your time Maxing Defiance. just put 1 into it.

Max Lighting Resist aura. ( for every 2 points in Lighting resist aura you get a Magical Prefix of +1 to Maximum Lighting resist) and if you get it maxed. start putting Points into Cold resist aura for mephs Blizzard

Seriously, there are only few needed things for Uber runs.

Lifetap, cb and a fast weapon.

I have done Ubers in gloom armors (removes lifetap sometimes) lightsaber, shael'd pb, and my current Uber smiter only has a random 40ish resistances all over.
In my eyes, black runeword, draculs gloves + gore riders.. and the rest is pretty much just overkill really.

Also the point distributions I saw here leaves your smiter as a rather boring pvm killer.
1point in smite is well enough for all your uber needs.
1point in the resistance aura to all resistances.
Full fanatism
Full holy shield
and go for anything else you want for the rest of the points...

You can even Uber smite with a hammerdin with 1point in smite, and 1point in fanatism.....
Just keep a set of draculs in inventory for when you go ubering, and a black rw on 2weapon.

Even stats points doesnt matter much. And using life sc or skillers is WAY overkill
My char does the ubers with only 1300 life, and no cta.
