Im going for something close to the Griffons eye build, my problem is just

How do i get enough str?

Got a 20 anni and 20 torch, but i need 26 to get to Sandstorm Trek, after i equip em, i need 8 for CoH, after i equip that i need 33 for spirit..

So in all 67 str.. Am i supposed to train this?.. Or get it some other way?

I got light skillers with 20-30 life on them at, and then 20 life scs, is it best to get str on my charms instead, and then train Vita, or train the str, and keep my charms?

Ideas?

Stat the str. Imo treks are bad pvm boots

If needed to equip your gear, yes. 67 statted str + gear is alot better than 67 more vita without gear.

Solid guide it seems its just treachery vs forty i dont understand is the ias that much dammage improve?

Yes, plus the fade from treachery adds 60 all res and 15% dr...it's no contest between the two.

Well, if you discard CB, the on-paper damage will actually be slightly higher on fort setup. However, the enemies on which you need the merc's damage are high life uniques (like lister and company) and act bosses, and in those cases, the additional CB procs from a faster attack speed make the treachery + thresher setup do a lot more damage.

Also, the on-paper damage isn't everything, since ingame there are quite a few things that are hard to include in on-paper calculations. One good example is attack interruptions: with treachery setup's higher attack speed fewer attacks will get interrupted by incoming hits (procentually), and the HR animation will be shorter due to the FHR on treachery, which means the merc will be ready to attack again faster. In a lot of situations this is a minor thing to consider, but in some cases it's a really important thing (for example in Lister's pack basically every single hit your merc takes will interrupt his attack due to their knockback).

And treachery also has the ctc venom which offers a minor boost damage and prevents monster heal for a short duration after each hit (provided the monster isn't immune to poison of course).

Plus, like LD mentioned, it gives 60@res + 15%dr.

1 more question.
Asuming i have good cold and fire dammage on my sorc.
Wouldn't i be better off giving my merc Eth tomb reaver 3soc, Forty ,guillames face ?
I would have huge dammage i can fix LL% and @ in socets if needed right?

Eth reapers is alot better.
