Players routinely use cookie cutter builds and miss the subtle bonuses of some lower items.
this is how I do ubers.
1. get a lifetap charges wand. Then you dont have that few sec of omfg I hope it goes off soon.
2. gearing is important but not as big of a deal as people think as you can use skill to get the ubers down fast as hell with practice and never giving up.
ok here is my howto
make a cookie cutter smiter.
get a cta/spirit and a lw or grief with an exile for shield, THEN GET ANOTHER LOW EXILE AND A Crescent Moon Phase blade.
Crescent moon is a runeword that is overlooked so often but it procs 'Static' which can take a pally smiting all 3 uber bosses to a place where they all are at 50% health in a matter of 3 seconds of fastest attack speed!
steps
open portal
go to frigid and bo up
back to town and swap for lifetap wand if you have it
go into Utrist and tap one of the 3 gubers
back to town.
get your CMPB and rand exile
enter Utrist and get all 3 bosses on your ass.
once they are at 50%ish... weapon swap to your grief and they all die.
faster than it sounds!
Stormlash > CMoon in Static proccs.
The % lowered is already countered by %CB which makes static redundant.
LW is not better than Grief, calculations were already made. BO is unnecessary.
Your entire management here takes much longer than it should with a simple Grief.
