reaper's loses out on corpses, amp damage is overridden by reaper's Decrep. only upside is the built-in life leech, but that's easy to compensate for even with CoT if you don't want to use Andy's/Tal

it's so much less damage, though. not sure why you think reaper's/treachery deals more?

oh i dunno something about being the strongest merc setup in the game that also happens to drop more 50% more gold... counless calculations are now replaced by arioc's needle.

Treachery mercs are pretty fragile until Fade procs unless you're Leap locking council. And then Decrep on Reaper's overrides Gavel's Amplify damage, while its cold damage shatters corpses somewhat frequently so you can't Find Item a % of your kills.

The 50% goldfind from Treach is effectively multiplied by 0.66 since it doesn't apply to Find Item.

The whole point is to remove your GF Barb Merc's reliance on you babysitting his survivability with Leap so you can focus on cursing/popping corpses/telestomping the Super Uniques to get the f out of there asap.

Now that the 80-90s timer was added instead of the initial 60s, it's probably fine to take it slower & use CoT/Goldfind Tiaras to squeeze out a bit more gold per run if you don't want to add LK or Pindle to the run, but that still doesn't favor Treachery or Reaper's Toll.
