hey dark, me and my friend king_paladin (pretty well known gfg zealot on west) have concluded a strage bug with regarding to AR :S. We both normally run with like 17k-20k+ ar usually, but then we tried a low ar setup varyin from 9k-13k ar.
i slapped an exile(normally we dont use exile cause west rules make it bm :S) on to see how often he would hit me with the 9k or whatever low ar setup and he still hit me like no tommmorrow as if he had the 20k + ar setup.

was messed up :S.
anyone want to go test this out some more :S. Both guys go low ar + exile and duel(so both well over 50k+def), then like one guy use high ar vs a low ar guy (both using exile to hit well over 50k def), then someone go with a 30+k def setup(stormshield) with high ar vs a high def(exile) with low ar setup, n vice versa high def(exile) + high ar vs low def(stormshield)+ low ar to see if there really is a huge huge difference.

and anyone want to tell me the charm setup of how u guys hit like 17k+ ar with dual ravens :S while using a non visionary helm n fool weap.
cause im using like 3/xx/20s and if i go dual ravens my ar is like 10k xD.
am i suppose to use 9x 10/xx(whatever the perfect ar on those are)/45s and 10x 3/20/20s ?

How about you do that? Estimprophet is the best melee in your guild, go ask him. Because no good zealot maxes blessed aim.

Yeah that's kinda strange lol. The low ar setup that I like to use and do well with is around 17k and it does fine, but not as good as my higher ar setups. Hitting 60k def zealots more than once in a duel with only 9k ar seems kind of crazy but yeah i'll try it out lol.

You actually said that in one of the earlier pages. You also said that no zealot uses a coa (lol). Who's the melee that said that to you? I would like to know who else in 'melee' is as clueless as you.

this is idiotic,noone would trade 1kish ar for that much dmg

besides estim, your guild probally doesnt have any zealots that i know,no a baim builds anyways.

btw,the reason the other go hit alot with exile on....exile is the most horrid blocking shield anywhere,its only used for tap.

if you had rare eth shield with insane defense but no tap....would you use it?

I agree with this comment. Craigs the only good zealot in 'melee' that I know of. The rest are pretty much all ladder melee spawns like this kid. I'm Godly-pk btw so yes you know me and thanks

I should bump my thread, but the difference between 13k and 20k ar is only a few% of hit chance.

Also, I know that this isn't pioneering of any sort, but I created a nontap build that I think is pretty nice, want a critique:

8k top damage with eprudence, 9.8k with esac fort

cham guillaumes
defense etc rare jewel'd stormshield
verdungos
gores
steelrends
botdz
angelic ammy and 2x rings
32020s/torch/anni
3 hs c/t/a and HoZ on switch

with eprudence sacred:
8k damage
20k ar
46k defense
3900 life

with efort:
9.8k damage
20k ar
58k defense
4100 life

60% crushing blow
30% deadly strike
10% open wounds

You could of course use 20 ias gloves and edc, or get a 4 frame foold and Lo it, I just used a botdz for default.

How's it sound?

Yes it's true that mathematically the differences between 13k and 20k + ar is only a few small %'s but it makes a huge difference in duels. Those are good setups and I have actually used the guili/eprud setup and it did well and the efort setup is a very good setup that will evenl beat tap zealots. My favorite non tap setup is this

80/30 visionary w/ str
Eprud
Cham ss
Angelics
Edc
Upd gores
Steelrends
Verdungos

thats what you have a melee sorc for
