Physical zealer can't wreck p8 even with grief. Tesladin with dual dream is another story. My favourite physical zealer is conviction paladin for p1-3 with lots of CB and 1-71 light dmg scs.

Theoretically could, practically, not recommended. Point is with skills like zeal or ww, they aren't AOE but single target ones. Instead of killing every monster fast you hit all of them one by one from close distance which hast got an overhead on how fast you can clear. Also with zeal, you have to be close to monsters and cannot move. You can be surrounded real fast, too. This is why edeath is so nice. All none cold immune monsters are frozen in their tracks.

Nope, you don't care about immunes with tesladin. You kill them with grief. All others fall to grief + holy shock+ conviction aura. You could also try to put more emphasis on holy shock by using crescent moon pb. Reaper merc is just there to increase physical damage side of tesladin (I max sacrifice then the rest into zeal).

Great to see a PvMer doing Zeal. I play PvM Zeal a ton and I struggle with this too. I love using the Death BA but hitting the IAS breakpoint sucks. No great ways around it. I end up using Grief PB because it’s just as good and doesn’t require much tweaking. I however also hate just resorting to a Grief so I dabble with Botd and Heaven’s Light.

As for the shield, Hoz is the way to go. You don’t need that much defense in PvM and the Hoz aids in resist and skills. Hoz = #1 in my book.

String of Ears > Verdungos (not by much though imo)

I focus my build around high damage and high life. Don’t really need too much defense or damaged reduced in PvM as Holy Shield is enough protection. Rather I prefer to focus on IAS, DS, CB, FHR and keeping my resistances maxed.

i got a sunder charm whitch im going to test not sure if i want to use it for ubers but my guy is pretty much untouchable in any 8 player pvm content ( doesnt kill fast enough for my liking in p8 but can tank anything and stand in souls way )

I think this setup is the best and gives me 80 fire light res
Im having alot more fun with death and from my testing it seems to be killing slightly faster , i need more ar though i got 6900 so with charms it will outpreform grief.

grief build i switch out coil for string , and death for a grief with 40 ias probally going to also leave sunder charm in stash for ubers.

this guy is zeal smite hybrid i have sacrifice zeal and holy shield maxed and like 10 points in smite

Use eth death cleaver. It's better weap for zealer then grief.

Not for PvM.

What babun said is the best option since you want to stick with exile. I personally prefer death ettin over ba for more damage, but it would require hoz for the extra socket so don't think you'd go for it

Nos coil is better than verdungos for pvm though. You don't need to worry about dr so the stats on nos coil are more helpful than verdungos.
