Honestly, I hate guides that pretty much require you to change vs any type of character...
there is a difference between putting on 1-2 different pieces of gear as opposed to putting on multiple... What happened to the good ol' days of general all around builds that require very few switchups?
Other than that little rant though...
Very informative guide...
/edit It does need to be cleaned up a bit as the black on white with the 12 pt font and single spaced gets to you after a long while...
Unfortunately, changing gear setups to tweak vs. specific opponents is essential if you want to beat opponents who are tweaking setups against you
It's a good thing this guide explains it wellQuote (Juicy_J @ Jul 31 2011 02:18am)
I can sort of agree with this. However, in pubs the Necromancer is one character that definitely doesn't have to switch a ton of setups. I remember pubbing with the same Hoto/Bfists/Coa/FCR Ammy/FCR Rings/Aldurs/Nigma/Spirit/Arach build all the time. Occasionally I used White over Hoto and Trangs over Bfists when I didn't need all the res. But that setup granted me tons of stacked res, DR, life, and 5.3k damage which isn't bad by any stretch. In a 1v1 gm match though, I don't see why you wouldn't optimize your gear based on the opponent.
This isn't a guide to *screwing around in public games*
It's a guide to winning FG Wagers and climbing PvP Ladders
Shit gets real when FG or a #1 rank on a ladder is on the line
One sole setup on your character will not be sufficient in higher tier more competative PvP
Every serious player has a stash full of tweaks, get used to it if you want to competeQuote (tudey @ Jul 31 2011 06:51am)
somewhat flawed strategies
Erik is the only person I've ever met that can consistantly beat my amazon with a necromancer, using only GM tactics
I suggest you listen to his strategiesQuote (Inzaned @ Jul 31 2011 09:57am)
what a load of crap

nice guide. but it should be much shorter
a good necro needs only this..:
125fcr 86fhr 50dr
and much life and dmg as possible..
the main clue is to not get hit. so necro will need massive mana.. to tele and spam ibs and spear...nn swap all this items all the time cuz. if good. you will almost never get hit.
Once again:

I'd like to see more guides like this
and less cookie cutting pub guides
