This sorceress has :
20 pdr (physical damage reduction)
80 mdr (magic damage reduction)
50% dr (physical resistance)
75% es (energy shield)

For example :

Against 10K physical (critical with Grief) along with 18 fire damage (Grief), 18 light damage (highlord), 18 cold damage (Raven) :

pvp factor : 1700 physic 3fire 3light 3cold

75% es : 425 physic 1fire 1light 1cold

20pdr+80mdr : 405 physic -79fire -79light -79cold

50% dr : 202 physic -79fire -79light -79cold

Total damages : 202 - 79 - 79 - 79 = -35 -> 0 damage taken (to life)


Against 2K physical (Beast alone) and no elemental damage (angelic set)

pvp factor : 340 physic
75%es : 85 physic
20 pdr : 65 physic
50% dr : 32 physic

Total damages : 32 -> death when at 1 hp (after poison and/or open wounds).

first thing i thought of

she use 2 stormshields/2 nw and more double useless gear!
a vs caster and a vs melee setup (36fcr and 105fcr)
she precast cold armors
she have more gear then 2 mules can pick up!

if baba have widow on swap, this Barrier Orb sorc starts failling!

and ofc, a tank sorc needs es!

Nice build I like the fire wall strategy . By the way how long is your fire wall?

Can you try adapting this to a standard es + fire/blizz/light sorc so they got a better chance in gm pvp? ^^

e: I mean the damage source will still be fb/blizz/light but pdr/mdr solutions and getting better defence/replen so the duel becomes easier? atm bvc>sorcs 1v1

Explain to me the mechanic of the tri-elemental damage the BvC deals, and how you are taking advantage of it. I'm missing something.

MDR/PDR overflow bug only works when both physical and elemental damage are present. If that is the case, any MDR that isn't used to reduce the elemental damage, is then added to PDR (or vice versa). If only physical damage is present, MDR doesn't do anything.
