sorb is pretty much a non-factor..
i almost never encounter people using sorb

you do realise not everyone is a non-ladder duper user don't ya...

why should everyone use sorcs?

my assassin does never ever use any abs except for 1 raven, which i use mainly for the cnbf, dex and ar though, not for the abs.


absorb is something that you use when you lack the skills. and i know quite a few who use non-sorc chars and own 99% of all sorcs without 1 element of absorb.

You know your FB sorc well, but it looks to me like you don't know WWsins very well

Good sins will lock you with traps before they attempt to WW.

However, Vita Sorcs good much better than ES Sorcs against WWsins because Venom/OW drains ES sorcs' life and not mana.

Vs. Charge/Smite pallies

This is an easy fight, unless the pally uses sorb. Fortunately, GM duels prohibit sorb, so you wont have to worry about this. If you’re in a public game vs a sorb pally, just remember that they are a pub. Sorb is for noobs, period.

All you have to do to win this fight is namelock and hold. Most smite/chargers don’t have enough stacked resists or life to tank fireballs, especially with fanatasism on.
You can hit them with 4 firebolts before they can hit you once. Generally they die from this.
If they can take extra hits, simply tele away from them and cast at them. Repeat this, and you cant lose. They cant get close enough to you to hit, or they die.

If they desynch a lot, just stay further away. It’s quite easy to avoid hits from a charger.
