i thought this didn't work since it does damage per frame which means sorb is much more effective?

only intreger absorb is effective!
(even a tiny bit of it will heal = BM = not allowed in liget duels!)
(most not even use use intreger absorb / just %absorb)ontop you need great stack resist to!)
%absorb = still death!

that have totaly no use at all! it will pulse at verry low dam!
(i tested it on other sorc)
and it will rune my -enemy resist!
and infi will rune my 4 screans away -enemy resist
(only cloose combat)

you tried a dragon build??

Going to respec my sorc to try this

attacks that do damage over time of elemental (ie firewall, blaze, meteor, immolation arrow, wake of fire, wake of inferno, inferno, arctic blast, firestorm, molten boulder, armageddon)
are specially flagged to use different values for magic damage reduction (MDR)


however absorb % and integer absorb + are both unaffected- if it deals 10 damage every frame for 25 frames a second, and you have +50 absorb (integer), you'll gain 1000 HP / second
however MDR used in this case would likely work at 1/25 rate- meaning even if you had 50 MDR, you'd take 200 damage over 25 frames
