Can get gold and gamble.U can gamble ANY ITEM IN WHOLE GAME (xcept runewords and quest items ofc).

I actually use a slight variant of this, i use a mf barb. With his gear (mf, instead of gf) I still get 200k+ per hell run and better drops from horking the corpses. best find so far on him was a 40 life pnb gc

i am wondering if botd cb is best for the merc

I was thinking about a better weapon and to go all out on the barb merc you could use a last wish in an eth collosus Blade(?). life tap, fade, ele dmg for phys immunes, cb, and ed. expensive and only viable on a merc.. I have this gold finder in hc right now. lvl 84 merc uses eth death, eth fort, eth arreats w/ cham. i use enigma, ik helm, lem'd babas, 2x hoto on switch, torch and anni. i just tele leap howl and pop bodies and i havent died yet

After having tried the Death CS Act5 Merc with little luck I got a BotD WP and got back to the Act2 Merc instead and o'boy is it easy now, it ain't even funny! :] Almost had a mil drop last run, and I donīt even have more than around 1000% GF.

clvl matters at gambling? whats the most worthy to gamble... rings circlets... and if u gamble a normal item, then after gamblin it can be an elit(fe crystal sword=>phase blade)?

I got myself this barb, 1590 goldfind 627 mf and the drops are good, but the merc isnt as good as I thought.

He has etb botd cb, eth forti 34xx defense, but it just takes him WAY to long to kill things.

Not that hes dying or so, even vs 1 monster its too long, I cant see how ur merc can clean whole travi in 1-3 mins :S

Mine does 3800-5600 dmg or so, seems kinda low. U dont got this problem?

I stick with Act2 Might merc for dmg. Dmg = survivability because More Dmg = More leech, and leech = tank.

Act2 merc with ebotd warpike does more dmg (about 9k) and has Range 5 which helps

Use Howl to scare monsters away so he can focus on the unique monster while the other monsters are scrambling. stun monsters with Leap and knock them into one corner if u can.

I use teleport to bring my merc on top of the monster i want to kill (hdin style)

edit: Btw, you can't gamble Eth items =)
