Hmm, once you get the hang of this, is it possible to hit it every try? If not, how often do most good zons pull it off in a fast paced duel?
Theoretically yes. However realistically everyone messes up some of the time.
Personally I have trouble getting that first fc to come out as soon as I namelock, I usually cant fc on a namelock til at least the second swing of the java, which delays my timing a bit. Since its all about the timing, once you get it figured out and in muscle memory its very very easy to do consecutive fcs, usually when I do one successful fc there are a few more consecutive ones to follow.
This is a duel I recorded of myself on my cs zon:
http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k43/w1zAd3pt/d2%20vids/?action=view¤t=feint_cinork2.flvAs you can see I messed up fcing quite a few times even though I caught the namelocks, good players will be quick to break namelocks if they see them because they know cs zons have the potential to fc - so you have to be quick about it.
Also another thing to note is this video was recorded back when I first started playing cs zon a number of months ago, since then I switched from using rightclick lf/cs (as shown in video) to leftclick lf/cs, why is this? Well you have to hold down shift either way to fc, and leftclick gives you the option to let go of shift and chain a tele from your namelock if you see your opponent is trying to break out of your namelock. More options with leftclick fcing imo.

Quick question: Do you hold down the click and press d, f, d, f, etc? Or do you d, f, click, d, f, click, etc? I find using the second variation (do the key sequence and then click), I can get it very close to 100% of the time, while if I'm just holding down the click with shift pressed, it's hard to just watch the motion and then time the clicks so that it fc's reliably.
hold down the mouse button the hotkeys are on. df ** df ** df ** df with every swing of the java while holding down the mouse button.
