TC-upgrading is quite simple. TCs are subdivided in groups. If mlvl is higher than the linked TC-Level (by monstats.txt) the next TCs in the TC-group are compared with the mlvl. If the next higher TC in the group has a lower or same Level compared to the mlvl, there will be an upgrade. Remember that this is just able in the same TC-group. This is the reason why de Seis just drops TC78 and not 87. The next higher TC in his group would need - dont remember exactly - mlvl 90+, so he cannot upgrade.
Downgrades are not possible!

Super Uniques (SUs) have predefined TCs, as far as I'm concerned. And Lord de Seis is a SU.

I do not see what he has to do with TC upgrades ?

over in my rune "guide" on the second or third page is a link to /p5 and /p3 runs. Stuff about sur and Mal I believe.

How odd ... /p3-4 or /p5-6 LK runs returning HRs that cannot drop on /p7-8 wacko.gif

And in what .txt is the TC listed? TCEx.txt!
It works the same with SU, look at the .txt. The SU-TC-group has - like the other TCs - TC-Levels. The only problem why it doesnt upgrade is the freakin high TC-Level.

I will have to look in SuperUniques.txt as well, iirc.

Might rewrite that part of the guide which you mentioned. It is probably confusing.

Not sure when that'll be. But eventually, I will get around to doing it.

It just links the SU-TC to the TCEx.txt. Same way the monstats.txt works. smile.gif
