ok, well i tested it and i can't tell any difference. it was a pretty long sample and i used a stopwatch...no difference.

make sure fade is on when you get hit with the cold damage, and make sure to take off your cold length reduction because there might be a cap on the effects. nm/hell might have some effect on it too, but i remember it reducing it by quite a bit last time i tested it.
