1.I'm not smiter expert, but i got a little practice with smiters anyway,it's enough for me.

Stat points:
Str: You must calculate how much lc's with str you will have and how much you will need for 142str(Upped zaka).
Well... a LC gives 5 Strength = 15 Life.
But 2 SCs give up to 40 Life = 13,3 Strength! Statting Strength+Taking Life from Inventory is more effective... an easier.
Dex: Nothing here!You don't need max block!
Maxblock won't hurt, with an Upped Zaka, u actually don't need too much Dex, 136 @ Lvl 90 with HS Lvl 27.
And the physical Attacks are reduced by 75%, what actually helps...
Vita: Rest in here.
Right.
Energy:You don't need energy,just some mana potions in your belt
Gear:
Charms
You will need some Large charms with str,and one large charm with 5dex.
Some sc's with 11% light res/fire res.
No anni,no torch.

Helm:
Kiara's Guardin(Tiara) - +60% all res or better socketed with Ral rune.
Guillaumes Face with an Um or an Res Jool is also Ok... and the best for UT if u ask me. 30 FHR + 35% CB.

Ammu:
Highlord's amu, you don't need other,this is the best.
Only if u need IAS, otherwise, any +2 Amu with more than 35 Res is better.

Shield:
Upped Zakarum +170% and better, socketed with Ort rune (godly lighting res).
Well... Socket it with a pTopaz, then u get 5% Lres more... or a pDiamond what means +19@.
And ED doesn't matter at all, u don't want MB but carry about Def -.-?
Weapon:
Black runeword in 3 socketed Flail (Thul + Io + Nef) - high crushing blow + high speed,needed for 6 frames with smite.
A 'AmnTir' PB is also nice... 25% CB and can eb socketed into a PB -> less Care about Speed.
A Flail needs a bit more...
Rings:
Raven 20dex/xxx - you don't need ar,your smite hits every time.
Lowcost? Then, just any Raven.
Dwarf - any Dwarf is good.
You can change your Dwarf in Tristram with whisp, vs Uber Meph.Actually with your res,you don't need whisp.
And actually, a Ring with res can help more

And Stats and Life,...
Well, Dwarf actually isn't too bad.
Gloves:
Dracul's 15str would be cool.You must know, lifeleech doesn't works with smite,but lifetap works fine.

Armor:
Duress runeword in Archon or better armor. Any duress is good for you ;-)
Lionheart has 15% Less CB, which u gain again with Guillaumes Face for example, but it has more Stats and more Res.
Second Hand:
Shield with res and Wand with Lifetap on charges,needed for first trigging of lifetap,after it,dracul's will take care for your Lifetap.

Skill Points:
20 Smite
20 Holy Shield
20 Fanaticism
20 Defiance
Defiance is always a fail
U should have Maxblock, and u easily get 10k+Def, so u don't need more against physical attacks...
Rather go for Resist against Lightning/Fire.
1 Prayer
1 Cleansing
1 Vigor (or rest in here)
1 Salvation
All rest points where you want ;-)

You will get 6 Frames on smite,high fire and light res on hell, 90% crushing blow and a lot of life.
And don't care for your smite dmg,it isn't imporant.
It IS important, because with it, u leech.
But with an Upped Zaka, MAX HS and MAX Fana, u should have enough.
80 lvl is enough i think.
Right at the moment, my smiter got 1519 life,maybe you will got more life,'cos i've f*ck*d up my char with many more str than enough..anyway have fun with this char.
