you also brought up the fire/lit into the equasion. i've said from the start of this that psaphs, prubys , and 9/15's are > for a sorc then a facet PERIOD.

so less you picking out one tihng in my argument and bending it to your argument.

i'm talking about a es cold sorc. psaph > facet for a cold sorc. due to the fact your dmg comes from cold mastery.

obviously you didnt read my posts since, again ( and then you may understand ), i agree psaphir > facet on es fire/light but not @ cold.
infact, by using psaphir instead of facet, you would win 70 mana ~ and loose 5 % dmg and -5 % pierce.
1 facet is like a cold sk. would you replace a cold sk by 3* sc's 17 mana ? no. that's why facet > psphir @ es cold sorc.

accually yes i did.

on the cold sorc i use currently i am only usen 5 cold skillers. rest are mana/life scs.

which gives me about 7k ice blast and about 7.5k blizz ontop of 4.8k mana(dont have bmanas on west)

7k ice blast is more then enough when you have cold mastery vs vita characters. its about a 4-5shot and most vita sorcs are dead.

being that a es sorc resistances dont apply to more then 5% of their life cold mastery is pretty much useless vs a es sorc.

hence forth cold mastery > hard dmg on a es cold sorc.

repeating myself again... its fun...

yes it helps to have more dmg but your not going to out dmg a fb sorc or a lit sorc. so you must find other ways to survive on a cold sorc in svs.

putting facets in your gear may help you with dmg. but i could almost 100% tell you that the sorc of his has issues vs casters.

just because A he doesn't use viper with a es sorc so a necro could run run avoid getting nl'd and eventually kill him. because 100% of the dmg doesn't og into mana.

and B he has very little mana. i had 4k mana on my es cold when i used 9skill gcs as well as the sorc was lvl 86 -.-

hell my 200% es fb has 3966 mana. 4k mana is very low.

a full skill gc setup works well vs vita characters and pubs. but in priv games? you'd you get destoryed svs. eu, east, asia or west.

dmg isn't everything. if it was you wouldn't have a es fber. you would have a vita es sorc yeah? yeah.
