Hey I just read your guide and my gear happened to be very similar to yours (except I can't find a stormhide like amulet so I'm using a 2/15fcr amulet with dungos). I had a few questions about stratgey. I keep hearing fhr lock but exactly how do you go about doing this? Also how do you use dragon claw? Do you put it on your left hand and as soon as you stomp the necro switch from that to clicked him? If you stomp him are you supposed to assume the shadow will mind blast for you? (or should you mind blast as soon as you stomp him then dragon claw)? Thanks a bunch and great guide (even though this goes without saying)

FHR locking is done by mindblasting your opponent, causing the stun effect to trigger on them (the little swirly you see on top of their heads when you MB them). While that is in effect, any hit, even if it's a 1-2 damage hit, will trigger a hit recovery. Multiple hits over and over cause the opponent to be continuously "locked" in hit recovery mode. That is FHR locking.

Put dragon claw on left click. Once you obtain a namelock via mindblast, teleport on them and left click. You'll hit your opponent and hopefully cause them to FHR lock. Don't worry about having them stunned via mindblast.

also keep in mind that its only smart to stomp while you have a shadow out. otherwise, a max block nec may still out spear you if it has a golem etc that slows u down while you try to dclaw it

to be safe, if traps are hitting him, and there is a swirly (throw 1 mindblast to keep the fhr lock going) and stomp with dclaw to double fhr the poor guy. as soon as he tried to wsg out, ww in the same direction = pain

Ah, I guess it'll take practice. What about getting out of trapsin FHR lock. Should I wsg and run south or try WW'ing out or just keep trying to teleport out (or another option)?

One more thing. My gear:
Circlet (FCR/Str/Dex/Res) but only 1 socket with UM
2/15fcr amulet
Dungo's

Rest of gear:
Enigma/Trang Gloves/FCR ring/Raven/Shadow Dancers/10 Shadow GC's

Because I couldn't get 2 sockets on my circlet, I opted to just using Dungo's and a 15fcr amulet. Is this the best option? I can't really afford a 2 socket circlet. Another option I thought of was to take out the UM and replace it with Ber, wear highlord's and Arachnid Mesh. Then proceed to place points into fade which I originally put into shock web as a synergy to Lightning Sentry. Is this option any good? Thanks!

i personally use a combination of wwing south/behind walls etc.... to avoid trap lock. sometimes if im close, i ww towards the trapper and force them to move (thus taking their mb lock off me) and during that time i quickyl get out. WSG works but try to avoid it as much as possible because if u get hit with a trap and u dont have wisp or tgod on. it hurts like crap.

stick with what ur using right now. pumpin points into fade = heavy loss of trap damage. infact, its better to be dueling with 43%DR (1 ber helm) as opposed to losing those 700 trap damage from pumping fade.
