eth upp'd headstriker is hands down the best weapon an A5 merc can use. anyone here saying otherwise hasn't looked at the math or play tested it

its super easy to make / find and very very cheap

has blasting damage high ds (50) and 50 cb also glacial spike freezes monsters in trav for extra ez hits while you leap spam = ez ez

you dont have to wait to find a eth headstriker and upgrade it and socket it nn too much work

problem with this is you arent accounting for rare weapons...

yes ofc a rare weapon with max damage, demon damage, and ED is gonna slap

My merc legit wears eth ariocs shaeld; non eth gladiator bane no socket; crown of thieves w lem rune. W demon limb and gavel he plows trav ezpz. I leave if there is conviction aura.

Man a GG rare wep for merc would be craaaazzzy good ngl. The weakness of A5 merc is lack of AR, and having a fools modifier....

Seems like you didn't try Headstriker, though. Death and LW are nowhere as good. I tested about everything I could on an A5 Merc and the only weapon worth a shit besides impossible Rares is a Headstriker.

Yeah man it's one of those things I just vaguely dream of but expect to never find. I had my full 08 legacy goldfind barb (minus pre-08 war travs, which I left in classic out of respect), but never got anything close.

Loath Barb still taunting me.

Loath Barb is more of pvp than pvm.

Hint for you though, take away the strength then re look at the other suffixes. When you see it you will understand
