unless you are facing a necro or an es sorc, no. Um Lo is usually a good balance... but if you are going physical and go umum, then that is just stupid.

then according to you, any physical-type character should not consider OW as a main factor? I guess beast on off-hand bvc's is also stupid.

a bvc and a ww sin play completely different. beast offers so much more than simply ow. but ow is ONE of the reasons to use it. but if a bvc neglects any DS to achieve plenty of OW (aside from facing necs and es sorcs) then they are indeed stupid.

the balance of both is essential for both sins and barbs.

there is a bug where you can stack psn and instead of adding up it multiplies.

where else will you get ow if not from off-hand's sockets? you talk about balance when you decide to have overall 25% OW total, and that's only from chaos and absolutely nothing from off-hand, and you already have a near 40% ds source from hl.



even with that, 35% ow chaos side / 60% ow off-hand side / 37% ds is much better than 35/10/77 with a lolo setup.

I use Gores because I'm pro like that. Most people aren't pro enough for a Gores-sin, though.

Most instances I will use Um Lo to have that extra ow, and even with that, ow never really plays a huge role in my past ww sins. Ive always relied on the physical damage and high ds my sin can throw out there.. not to mention a decent venom boost.

I almost never need ow to win a match, unless ofc im playing a nec or es sorc. Its that simple. I never have. Anything other than those 2 chars is either slow enough to catch most of the time where more hits > ow... or the character has so muchlife that ow is almost neglectful in comparison to some extra DS, even though i may have enough DS as it is in some people's eyes.
