why every1 is claimed to draucls on smiter?

exile --> lt
the disciple gloves+weap set pwns draculs + any weap

gloves = laying hands = 350dmg to DEMONS (any uber = demon) (+20ias)
weap = 300++ dmg to DEMONS (+40 ias)

not to mention that dracs has lifetap and open wounds combined into one item, so you don't need to worry about having OW elsewhere (which is crucial, otherwise, it's a pain with their high hp regen rate)

If you read the guide carefully, you would know that +% DtD is not applied with Smite.

Again, the crucial ingredients are:
  1. Cannot Be Frozen
  2. Smite attack speed (above 7 frames is not recommended)
  3. Life Tap (at least one source: skill charge or proc)
  4. Crushing Blow
  5. Open Wounds
  6. Resistances (Fire and Lightning in particular)
The normal Smite damage becomes increasingly important as the target's remaining HP approaches zero.
This is why Grief is able to compete with the other weapons.
