Gear is really inflexible because of the breakpoints you have to hit. You can throw in some variations like CoH on chest but then you have to give up gloves/ammy if you wanna hit 65% ias. You have to give up ammy + rings to get enough AR to hit Pallys and Babas properly without a merc in PvP. If you wear CoH you can't complete partial angelic set so your AR will suck. Hat/Shield has to be Dream for obvious reasons.

Only real difference is in PvM you can use a Blessed Aim merc for a big AR boost which frees up your jewelry for something else thats useful.

Not gonna pretend that its an amazingly effective concept for a pvp build because it isn't really - you are never gonna max block with a Dream shield unless you invest hundreds of points in dex. You could use guardian angel but then you have to use ias gloves, highlords and lose damage + res and have crap AR. Its hamstrung from the word go with 10/7 frame attacks which is slow as hell. Gear is so locked that you can't use alternatives that give you huge life and mana without losing something really important.

I still commend the author for trying to make it work though and for writing a guide which doesn't really have anything thats misleading or factually wrong with it.

Its gotta be satisfying to kill someone with it though. I mean against all odds you managed to beat some scrub with a [B]motherfucking zeal sorc.[/b] Think of it like a really low tier dueller - not expected to win much but if you do then damn you deserve some respect.

pvp zeal sorcs max block with dream tower shield all the time. 353 dex after gear. Not that hard, can still hit reasonably high mana with 2x soj + frostburns.
Points in dex work nicely with enchant giving you better ar than a nonblock zeal sorc, its a worthwhile investment of stat points in more ways than one.
