During ladder season 7, I went out of my way to build an OW Belt setup as well as a CB setup (for shield barbs)
This way you could deal decent damage even with titans agains the shield barb and have a good chance of dealing OW while still using Stormshield
Let me tell ya, just wasn't worth it

The only thing you really need OW against are powerful Eshield sorcs, sometimes Necros (even though I prefer phoenix vs them) and trappers if you have the correct setupt to use swordback against them
and Crushing Blow is just an empty persuit on Bowa. It requires way too much special gear to really make this work

The same problem happens with OW/CB setups as it does with vs. Druid setups (that have alot of life leech)
The setups never get used unless it's against some extremely specificc build and it just wastes inventory space that could be used on more universally important gear


My opinion of CB/OW on Bowa is this:

Swordback is your source of OW
Don't worry about CB
And always wear War Traveler over Gore Rider

ow is more useful to a degree since its unresistable dmg over 9 secs, it does however take a reduction since its a ranged weapon but cb also takes a big penalty as with missile weapons, vs. Players: = 1/20th of the life then u have to factor pdr since most decent chars vs bowa will have high dr + max% dr further reducing the dmg so ur left vs a 50% pdr taking 1/40 of the hp which is near nothing..

i.e 4000 hp char = 200 hp before 50% pdr so after = 100 life loss and ofc cb effects are based on how much hp the char has left so the dmg will be much more negligible at lower hp
