Not only was he good, he was one of the four or so people who laid the groundwork for BvCs and made them as popular as they are. Blobs made one of the most widely known guides on BvCs, while mcm, morotsjos and luis made BvCs popular simply by being awesomely good on them. Mcm and luis also changed the way people built BvCs, as they were the driving force behind using Widowmaker and Fortitude/Duress. Little has changed since their times: Fortitude has become somewhat obsolete due to boxing, Widowmaker isn't "scary" anymore, but that's it, nothing else has really changed.
And by the way, Guillaume > Arreats. Sadly, due to the way CB and AR work, it's not practical to provide an exact analysis of how it works, as it'd require exact parameters for AR, opponent defense, opponent level, player level and opponent life. And to actually do something useful out of that, you'd have to code a program that does all the math and draws a proper graph out of it with the different parameters varying within realistic ranges. And unfortunately, I don't do programming and in truth no one is interested in the math, just who's right.
The Oracle has spoken, now quiet down.
Thanks for telling me a lot of things I already know.
A few more things have changed though. Stuff like 63 fcr, oak (or both combined) is something I think most people (who are any good on barb) will agree with me is very useful in situations.
Unsummon lock is barely used anymore (except vs. minions). Good barbs do direct tele->zerk instead of zerk->tele->zerk, and a lot of people realized that leap is nowhere near as useful as it was claimed back then...
Just to mention a few things..
