This looks lik ea nice build and I have the items to try it but there are a couple of things that concern me (im trying it regardless)

Your Amulet and Weapon choices imply 'Prebuffing' - I wont perbuff, any build that require this action is useless to me, any build can be godly if you take the time to prebuff.

Do you tink that this will still be an effective build without a Maras/Hoto prebuff?

You can buff or not as you like, I mentioned it for the sake of being thorough and if I didnt , you know someone would be like "yo dawg, you can buff that with xyz"


Of course it's still effective. I prefer to play more on the melee side myself, so I didnt bother with the buffing stuff myself. I keep cta and spirit on switch that use for trap laying. Good enough for me. If I buff anything, its the shadow every now and then.


So you finally found that HHG on hc?

those are hard to snag. If I was to make one of these, I'd probably just settle for mosers and 2X facets.

I prefer a season to taste method, instead of a YOU HAVE TO DO IT EXACTLY LIKE I DO IT guide. That's why I started off with the goals first.

Thanks for the reply, I suppese a +1/+2 wouldnt be too bad compared to a +3/+2, and I totally know what you mean about the retorts jsp would gibe had you omitted the prebuff details. I did find the 3os HHG, always had a mosers but the numbers look nicer for the HHG and since I have a few toons up this wasnt something that I needed to do until I had all the gear.

I will probably use a Dungoes though, I dont really know yet, thats my HC preference of a belt, I have never used a tgods, we'll see how the STR numbers work out.

I tried your TriDin guide out, though I passed on the fire skills, and made a few gear changes. It is really fun to play a Zeal Pally with a VoR PB, makes FoH a viable PvM skill and definately raises some eyebrows, I bet this sin is gonna be even deadlier. Thanks for the great guides and sagacious advise, Zap, you are a true asset to this community.

without reading 28 pages of who knows what, did you ever consider this type of sin using a destruction rw phaseblade instead?

stupidly large amounts of ctc skills, throw on a phoenix shield for another ctc, would use a diff helm though, since no orb, no need for cold dmg from nwing

I've looked at destruction, the kick mods like the cb are pretty nice, but those ctc damages are very very low damage, it doesnt compete by a mile with Rift. Most of the ctc's on destruction have under a 100 damage. Phnx would interrupt your kicks, so it's a pretty poor choice there. Besides this glaring problem, what's worse is it also redeems corpses drastically slowing down your kill speed since Death sentry wont/seldom go off.

I like seeing some thinking outside the box, alas destruction isnt it.
If you google Master Zap and destruction, you should be able to find a post where I broke down every single ctc damage on it for the numbers comparison.
