Harder barbs were hard, but I had very basic low end gear and didn't even have knockback.

shoot garrows till theyre on your minimap, switch to java, throw one cloud and stand in it, throw furies
when they're poisoned, keep walk dodging to the sides and throwing knockback furies
teleport out when their ww goes past you..

goal here is to keep walking out of the barb's DoD so they're suffering from plague as much as possible, catching them in kb fury chains when they teleport to screw up their patterns


only way to win is to be as tanky as possible. With 3600 hp, 75% block and 50% dr setup, 50% dodge- it takes a dickload of damage to kill you

mind blast spam is indeed a huge rape factor vs damach zon
not in terms of fhr/dodge lock- if they are trying to trap you you can just walk right out, and if they are trying to tele/ww it puts them into a plague javelin position and opens them to lightning furys

but getting spammed by a 102% fcr sin with maxed mb can kill you all on its own from just mb + sm damage alone, and theres nothing you can do to win as long as the sin plays competently- you can't attack her meaningfully, your only chance is if she stumbles stupidly into a plague


and worse, no amount of %FHR will save you. In fact, fhr is more or less useless overall- you can speed up your FHR animation, but your dodge animation takes precedence and always lasts the same speed, so your fhr speed is almost entirely irrelevant
if you get 10% from your boots, thats good, but you probably shouldn't sacrifice anything at all for fhr on a zon with dodges, not even 1 sc for a frame faster vs 20 life. the life is almost always better.


there is, however, one way to beat a mind blast spammer- get an amulet of life everlasting. in particular, an emerald/chromatic amulet of life everlasting (or +2 zon, either way)
you can shave off about 50-75% of the damage from mind blast with that alone, and if you have natures peaces in your stash too, you can probably entirely negate it.
if ur *super* hardcore, its possible to get an artisan's diadem of life everlasting with 3x sol runes in it. but honestly, what are the odds?




its a real weakness yeah, but theres probably only a dozen duels on all the realms who know enough to just spam mb on a zon and give up on traps/ww. Even most ghosts you'll meet in pubs and priv don't realize it.

actually the odds are 33:490844, with 33:7853504 odds of it being perfect, to be specific

you're going to deal a lot of dmg while dodging ww's

dodging wws by walking perpendicular to their ww direction and then spamming javas, yeah
any time a sin teleports and ww's on top of you, unless you're standing afk in 5x wake of fires, u just turn around and put on your rapeface

only dumb sin tries to play offensive with stomps. any sin with 20 points mb 20 points sm, 102% fcr and 9x shadow skillers can kill you with 1 hand unless you -dr them

barbs much easier than wwsins. put on double rape face against them
unless papa knows exactly how to leaplock and play patient and ww at angles properly, its easy peasy duel

throw plague, let them ww you, sidestep and throw furies, sidestep tele out when they go for a DoD, punish them when they try to chase by throwing furies in hopes of interrupting their teleport (almost always causing them to either namelock or very long whirlwind when the tele fails, giving you a free win)

Not what I'd call a hard zon to kill ^__^
