Yes they could kill with the gear you discribed and there is better set ups imo

but the bottom line they die too fast which in is imo not worth it.
Unless you give them Kiras, ss, ga

or if you are Very cearfull and tele away and absolutely make sure he doesnt get injured.
in which case you are relying on your merc to do most of the work.


So all in all why build a much inferior merc and struggle........
I suppose if you like the challenge? or just want something fun alternative then go for it

does he always use jab? or normal attacks to?
my titanseal ias calculator shows 5.5 frames breakpoints for merc jab!
how is that posible? is it a avrage frames ias breakpoint? (like fury druid!)

Yes, mercs received the CS bonus, and if you have DS in your setup, it's calculated together (not in addition, rather in a different calculation that you can find at the indiablo.de weapon average damage calc)

Act2 mercs always jab, indeed.
5.5 FPA is possible because each animation attack you see is actually a full jab which is numerous attacks following each other in milliseconds.

Btw I would add one more merc for the PvM PnB necromancer.

Prayer merc with Infinity, treachery and Andariel's Visage with Iron golem insight.
PnB necs blow in PvM without Corpse Explosion and they lack mana without insight so this setup gives us both.

Amp + conviction + CE deals massive damage.
